How we arrive at these numbers

This page explains where the numbers on this site come from and how old they are allowed to be. Everything you see was fetched at build time and written into the page, so what a search engine reads and what you read are the same thing — but it also means each page has an age, and we state it rather than hiding it.

How the data reaches a page

We fetch from the sources above on a schedule and rebuild the pages from that snapshot. Prices are not pulled by your browser: a page that draws its numbers only after loading is empty to a crawler, and a public endpoint called once per visitor runs into rate limits quickly. The trade-off is that a page is exactly as fresh as its last build, which is why every block carries the moment it was collected.

What the stale marker means

When a snapshot is older than the window in the table, the block is marked as out of date instead of being quietly shown as current. A crypto price from three hours ago is not a price, it is a historical figure, and presenting it without a date would make the page look more reliable than it is.

What we do not do

We do not smooth, round up, or re-order anything to make a number look better. Percentage moves are the source's own 24-hour figures. Prediction-market odds are the implied probabilities from the market itself, not our forecast, and a market with a leading outcome at 60% is exactly as uncertain as that sounds. The sentiment index is a third-party measure of the whole market — it says nothing about any single token.
